Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie - Harley (wv) - Medium - Adult - Male
Harley is a precious boy about 5 years old and in good health. Harley weighs about 44 lbs and is very tall. The story goes that a neighbor of his owner was angry at his owners and took Harley to the shelter. The owner looked all over for Harley and by the time he found out he was at the shelter, the shelter closed for 2 weeks due to a kennel cough outbreak. Harley never came down with kennel cough because he had all his shots including that from when the owner had him. The shelter had just turned him over to our organization and then the owner found us, and said he would come by in a few days to pick him up. He NEVER showed up or called again. Harley is such a good boy, healthy, however he is on thyroid medication twice a day, and so deserves a good home. He was allowed to run loose and that is why he ended up in the shelter. He needs a large fenced in back yard with plenty of room to play and a few other doggies to play with. He loves people, loves children, gets along with cats and other dogs. He wants a home of his own as he likes to get in your lap... Won't you consider bringing Harley into your life and giving him the home he deserves. Harley is still waiting for his forever home. Everytime someone comes to meet our rescues, he thinks they are there for him.....he wants a home of his own with a fenced yard so much....
